Peach Crisp....(or any fruit)
Pulse in 'Magic Bullet' (or food processor)
1/4 c raisins
1/3 c almond meal
cinnamon and nutmeg
add:
1 t flaxseed oil
add now and pulse briefly, or stir in next:
1/3 c slivered toasted almonds (TJ's)
Large dice with skins, 3-4 peaches into a small pie plate or baking dish.
Sprinkle mixture on top and make a couple of squiggles of honey on top, if you like.
Bake at 350 for 30-35 mins.
ratio of topping and peaches is up to you!

Benn following your blog for a while - good stuff! I have some local canned peaches that I've been wanting to use - they'll still work with this recipe, right? And what is that, a 6-cup muffin tin? Great idea!
ReplyDeleteThe local canned peaches should work just fine - though if they have syrup added that might affect its 'paleosity' and could affect the cooking time. Just give it a go and see!
ReplyDeleteThat is a 6 muffin tin! You could even make mini ones for smaller bites - these are seriously delicious...
I found that keeping extra topping in the fridge, makes for an even faster treat! Just slice, sprinkle and bake!
